How do I make BA flights a package by adding one night hotel?

I've looked but can't work it out - can I add one night hotel to BA flights to make a package and then only pay a deposit?

I've looked on this page and used 'customise your trip' but it still asks me for full payment.

Does the hotel have to be for the full length of the trip or am I doing something wrong? I just wanted to book the cheapest hotel for one night to make it a package but have i go this wrong?
Thank you all

The only way that reliably works for me is to go from the homepage, select the "Flights + Hotel" tab, then the "Create a custom trip" link.

How far in advance are you booking? If travel in less than 7 weeks you don't get deposit option and have to pay in full.

I'm looking at end of August - so yes, more than 7 weeks.
