?connection time too tight at Manchester?
Hi, I've booked our holiday including flights through WDTC for 4th October. We've got a connected flight on the way out, so going from Glasgow with Flybe arriving in Manchester terminal 3 at 8am then Orlando flight leaves terminal 2 (Virgin) at 10.05am.
I'm starting to panic now that this is too tight to get from T2 to T3 on time, if there are any delays. Wondering if anyone has done this? Also I'd be happy to travel to Manchester the night before, there's a flybe flight at 6.50pm. Any idea if WDTC would alter this and if we'd have a major extra charge? Thanks for help! 😀 |

So long as no delays you should be fine with that connection

I know but that could happen with any connection time.
If you are worried, look at the overnight hotel for peace of mind. We had a later flight back from Valencia on Fri and we were delayed by 1 hour, a poor lady missed the last train to York so was going to have to find a hotel.

Hello, I know it doesn't mean everything will be fine but I've lost count the numbers of times I've done that flight and never been delayed.

That is plenty of time. We flew into Manchester terminal 3 with Flybe and were able to use flight transfers which keeps you airside and cuts out having to go through security again. When you check-in make sure Flybe gives you your boarding passes in Glasgow for the Manchester flight and you will have no problem at all. The whole transfer will take about 30mins. Your luggage should be booked right through so you won't see it again until after immigration in Manchester.

Thank you dibbers, that makes me feel lot better about it. Thing is when I booked the holiday I knew what the flight times were but now it's getting closer the panic is setting in! Good to hear your real life experiences of this route and that's really helpful info about the boarding passes, I wouldn't have known that.
This is why I love the dibb! Thanks so much again x |
