Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I wondered which insurance companies do people recommend for cruise insurance? We have a Disney Eastern Caribbean itinerary booked, and the only other times when we cruised on the 4 nt Disney Dream itineraries, we just used Disney’s insurance. It’s been a while since we last cruised so I guess I’m wondering if anything has changed? I think I’m right in saying that the insurance premium for Disney’s own cruise insurance is c8% of the fare paid per person subject to a maximum? I realise that you will always pay a premium for Disney anything. Is anyone able to recommend a good & competitively priced alternative?

We brought an annual policy with full cruise cover as a bolt on from Columbus.
The cover is very good, we also needed a couple of conditions covered, which are with this policy. With the cash back via Top cashback the policy has cost just over £100 pounds which I think is excellent, as we normally have 5-6 trips a year.
