I just had a look and your quote seems terribly high. To give you an idea:

Universal to the courthouse is estimated at $38 one way
Downtown Disney to the courthouse is estimated at $34 one way
Bahama Bay to the courthouse is estimated at $52 one way

So we would be going from Disney's Pop, I think my quote was really high then. Would disney be able to book me a taxi ?

Hey Bianca - I wasn't sure where you were going to be going from so I thought I'd look at all three. Was your quote for a taxi or for a limo? The pricing I gave was for a Mears taxi and was given as 'approximate' but even at that your quote seems high.

You really don't need to book in advance. Taxi's will be outside of the resort nearly 100% of the time and if there isn't one they will call one over and it will be there in just a few minutes. They can book you one but don't feel like you have to.

Thanks, it was a taxi, but there is 8 of us, so maybe a minibus?

If it was taxi it wouldn't matter if it was a van or standard auto. Just stick with Mears and not a private company. Since you are at a resort you will only get the main company so you'll be fine.
