A couple of questions about a wheelchair user.
We are travelling with friends whos 17 year old daughter is a wheelchair user. She is able to walk short distances though.
We are just doing disney-am i correct thinking we wont need to get any sort of pass as most lines are ok for a wheelchair? She as no arms just hands so my concern is we will queue up and get to the front for a ride and they wont let her on. Does someone check at the entrance if your disability will be ok to ride? We have got the disabled parking badge-can we use it to valet park for free? I thought i read this but dont know if i made it up. Thanks |

Yes you can valet park for free at resort hotels. As for rides Disney are a lot more accommodating than Universal. Universal are very strict about being able to grasp bars with both hands and hold on. Disney may check but they do tend to let you decide if it's suitable or not. There's warnings at the entrance to every attraction about what's possible. Universal will outright refuse to let you ride if you can't prove to them what you can do. Hope that helps.
