Celebrity Millennium

Hi, We are booked to do a cruise on Millennium around Japan October/November, has anyone been on this ship, if so what’s it like, and any advise on Japan.

What’s the weather like & do they have kettles in the cabin, I heard it’s only for Southampton departures
Thanks

I've been on it and it's a nice ship not massive but friendly because it's smaller. Celebrity don't do kettles in rooms as standard but if you ask your cabin boy/girl for one they will bring it and leave it there for the whole trip but I suggest you take your own tea bags.

We have been on this ship, it’s one of the smaller ones but has everything you need, we enjoyed it
As for advice on Japan, one thing to be aware of is the toilets are not all of the western variety, some are the squatting type! I wasn’t brave enough to try these haha. The western ones can be quite high tech with lots of buttons!
Most ports we visited put on something when we arrived or left, from Japanese drummers to fire works and all sorts
A lot of places had English speaking people in the port to help you decide what to do/ where to visit etc if you didn’t already have plans.
Take lots of pictures but remember to look at things without your camera too, it is an amazing place!
