Wedding in Disney then party at home
HI,
We were looking at having a wedding in Disney, then having a return party when we come back for everyone, but what I was wondering is has anyone does this? Would I wear my wedding dress? I would have a buffet for everyone. Any info would be great! Thanks Sam |

We didn't get married in Florida but in Fiji. We came home ( after a 6 week honeymoon ) and had a reception/party...I wore my dress, Dh had his kilt on ( as did all the men in my family ) I also got flower girl dresses for the 4 nieces and we had a piper and a wedding cake...video and photographer. Basically everything we would have had at home. We did the buffet ourselves to keep costs down and my Dad paid for my wedding cake.
It also means I have 2 sets of completely different wedding photos oh and most importantly... we saved a FORTUNE!

We married in Orlando (not Disney) & then had a big knees up at home after our honeymoon.
We did the photographs, flower girl & wedding cake at home with a disco & buffet - I got to wear my wedding dress again ... and we saved a fortune too

We kind of did this the other way round, had a ceremony and reception in UK, and then a small wedding ceremony in Disney. It was the best of both worlds- and we saved thousands doing it that way! And we had 2 weddings essentially. And I had two dresses! Well I liked it...

We got married in Jamaica then had a proper party when we came back. I got to wear my wedding dress again and got my niece and step-daughter bridesmaid outfits. It s great way to do it.

We did it too, got married on Cocoa Beach just had the kids with us then when we returned home 2 weeks later had a room booked and decorated with dj and buffet and we had all the family and friends come and celebrate our marriage. It was the best decision that we ever made to do it the way we did. And the wife loved putting her dress on and showing it off again.
