I would start keeping a diary and noting down all his little "quirks" and concerns you have. The best piece of advise I can give you is trust your instinct and ignore your health visitor. The vast majority of them are a complete waste of space, they know very little about the complexity of sensory issues / autism etc and generally like to play the "wait and see game" which is useless, as early support is vital for our kids.

Hi Julie, just wanted to say a quick hi! Thanks for your reply and everyone else, I've just posted an update but have been meaning to say hi, we are still hoping to go back to our beloved POR, I've got over it all now, too many good memories out way the bad ones from last year and we didn't want our last stay there to be a bad one, so fingers xd we are going back in October if we can get some flights booked! Xx

Aww thanks, its so worrying, we had to cancel the flights off the booking due to finances so we now have the accommodation and tickets paid for but no flights! I'm worried sick we won't get anything as hubby and I think that this holiday could really help the little man, plenty of fresh air, lots of walking, all sleeping in one room and most of all completely throwing off his body clock, it just might work, but could also be a nightmare on returning home!

Thanks for your reply, we have now, finally, just booked our flights! Thanks to my dear mum lending us the last bit and using nearly all our air miles we've done it I just hope this helps as his behaviour over the past couple of days has been really strange and he's obviously really affected by the loss of sleep now as he's getting increasingly agitated and crying a lot during the day, I hope we are doing the right thing, I can see more positives for him going away than negatives, lots of quality time, fingers crossed.
