a bit premature but scared to look at travel insurance
As it stands, finance and health permitting, i am hoping to take mum and dad back to florida one last time in nov/dec 2016
mum has had the year from hell..being told the nodule in her lung was a tumour which was removed via surgery, trying adjuvant chemo but having to stop as it really did not get on with her and now she has a small blood clot in her lung...which is being treated by daily injections what im concerned about is how the hell are we going to get insurance..particularly if its just a case of watchful waiting to see if the cancer returns...oh and im sure they wont like the fact that she has had a blood clot either... can anyone give me suggestions on what companies to try...im guessing i will need to speak to someone at each to explain the situation... ...it also doesnt help that both mum and dad will be 71 when we travel |

You could try insure and go, they seem quite reasonable. I also would recommend staysure as they have insured my 80 year old mum with many medical conditions.

I would recommend stay sure for multiple complicated health conditions. My mum has angina stroke arthritis diabetes hernia and irregular heart beat along with some other normal old age things and when we went it cost £400 for a three week holiday but was well worth it as she was ill and the Bill would gave cost $20,000

Try Insure and Go. I have renal and failure and on Dialysis, we are just over £500 for this holiday (3 weeks).
