We've booked AA via Philadelphia but from LHR (2hr 15min layover). Have done <2hr via Atlanta before with time to spare, so hopefully will be fine in Philly

Also, seat reservations are free on AA as soon as you book (did ours yesterday).

Hi, we booked AA from LHR with stopover in Chicago.
I wonder, if it's easy to move between terminals.
We need to change from Terminal3 to Terminal5.
Never used AA and not know what are American Airlines like.

Philadelphia is a relatively small airport (compared with the likes of JFK, Chicago or Atlanta) We had a 3.5 hour layover there a couple of years ago and we spent a good couple of hours playing cards waiting for our next flight so think you should be fine with 2 hours.

We flew from Manchester on AA and it was a very good flight , newish plane with seatback TVs etc. I cannot really remember the food which suggests it was neither particularly good or bad! I think at the time AA had just taken over US Airways as plane was still in their colours.

Chicago is a BIG airport. There is a train / tram type people mover between terminals. How long a transfer time do you have there?

We flew through Chicago last year and I was really worried about how big it was. It took us an hour from landing to being airside again, with two kids in tow. It is big but seemed well organised when we were there.
