In 2014 we went kayaking from Lovers Key at FMB it was fantastic, seen dolphins on the open water area then Manatees and Gators in the groves, one of the best things I have ever experienced in Florida.

If you are thinking of a guided kayak tour then Manatee Guides at Lovers Key is brilliant. Been with them a few times. Only 5 min drive from FMB to where they launch.
