Engle wood area

Hi does anyone on this site have a rental villa in the Engle wood area please ? Or have you stayed in this area & can give suggestions on where to stay?

There are several rental properties in the Rotonda development where we have stayed before.

Englewood on the Gulf Coast? If so, I think there are few homes advertised here in Rotonda West which is about 10mins from Englewood beach.

Lots of villas in Rotonda West are rented out.

Thanks I’ll have another look- all I could see were villas in Disney area. Is rotonda west a good base for this area- like visiting new towns & walking- not just beaches

Rotonda West is ideally situated midway between Sarasota to the North and Naples to the south, and the small towns between them we visit both areas.

Plenty of people walk around this area which has 5 golf courses to get there exercise.( Not me)

We are lucky enough to be here now and over the weekend we had numerous birds and 4 Cranes in the garden and 2 Bobcats walk thru.

We’ve stayed in the Englewood/Venice area several times. The 2 most recent visits we stayed at Rotunda West. Lovely area and some great places to eat out! The beaches are fabulous !

Does this area offer the usual Walmart’s, target & chain restaurants? Found the villas on here but no availability for our dates☹️

Yes there is a big Walmart, Target is 20 minutes away in Port Charlotte or North Port.

There are numerous restaurants in Englewood to suit all budgets, chain restaurants are in Port Charlotte.
