My younger son (25!) has the same and does tend to get stressed on high pressure situations. You obviously know how to handle it, and we can all assure you all will be great when you travel.
Don’t worry about the SSSS, you will just get taken to one side, asked a couple simple questions and possibly get your hands and shoes swabbed for traces of explosives, and may look in your carry on bag again.I’ve had this three times now and the security staff have been great and make you feel at ease. Takes a couple mins at the most. It made me feel important.

Are you sure you didn't add the details when you booked the flights? The API must have been populated with something as you won't be allowed to check in, let alone even travel to the US, without it.

You can’t do this with VS now only at Checkin - Maybe done at OLCI T24 hrs ? Easy done and forgotten about but it needs to be done before boarding

Didn’t do it at all. Used to do it with TC in advance.

You can’t in advance with Virgin and we didn’t do OLCI.

Anyway still got in no issue.
