Flight regret...

Found indirect flights late last night MAN-FRA-MCO £790 for 2a 13 Aug to 28 Aug. I decided I didn’t want to make a rash decision late at night...but now it’s over £1400 for 2a and I’m kicking myself!

I really want direct flights or indirect through DUB or and USA airport to clear immigration!

Hoping I’ve not missed my bargain?!

Any advice to keep my spirits up? Or am I just a massive numpty?

Save up and go direct. The thought of going to France first makes me ill

Direct flights should be around £700each at that time of year during the sales

FRA is Frankfurt airport. Personally I would never fly in the opposite direction to which my destination is but then thats a serious amount of money to save!

That’s how I feel. I’m going west so all flights should be west! Or I might be ok with an initial flight south .

I thought the exact same thing! I think if that price had been to the US I would have gone ahead and plumped for it! I’m gutted now though as nothing else is anywhere near as cheap!

Going East to go West is pretty annoying. I feel a bit better now

I was looking at the same flights last night. £1150 for 2 adults 1 child. Was very tempted. Looked again tonight and it’s £2500! Such a big increase.
I’m holding out for xmas and jan sales with my fingers crossed. Looking for a bargain direct!

I’ve never been indirect before and I really want to go direct, but I have to go in summer hols. Currently can’t find anything cheaper than £2080. So a £1290 saving it more than tempting! That is a months wages for a lot of people

There are countless places in the world you cannot get to without taking connecting flights so insist on direct is very limiting.

It is a very British outlook that flights must be direct, most airlines in the US run hub based operations.
