Just to update and say we used Uber to all the parks. MK they drop at the TTC centre of course, the other parks at guest drop off zone which is right at the entrance. Twice the (different) driver got lost in HS looking for the drop off zone. One stopped the journey on the app so we weren't charged, the second didn't so we very easily clicked a link in the Uber app to say 'my driver got lost/took a poor route' and we had $5 refunded of that fare. We rarely waited long for an Uber to meet us anywhere, including the parks. It was so handy, cheap and much easier than the free hotel shuttles which we also used. we never felt worried or unsafe.

Sceptical at first but Uber is great!
We've already used uber 8 times this holiday. Each one has been her within 5 mins and it a massive saving on a normal cab ! Use code cassim187ue to get your first ride (up to $20) for free . Then get your own code for your partner/friend to use as well! B

Has anyone used über to get to Clearwater and back? Is this feasible. Would save a fortune if this would work out as we are staying on site at universal so won't have too much travelling around far distance really just to iDrive or outlets other than this one trip to Clearwater. Also I read somewhere that uber now pickup in MCO. Is this definite? Has anyone used it and what was approx prices

Do uber discriminate which country you are in, I've referred my wife to get first trip for free up to £10 but want to use in Florida how does it work?

Having read this and other bits of info/threads I am going to look at whether we can cancel the AVIS hire car from our BA booking and just use Uber. Only other thing to sort out is best way to get from Airport, but might just use normal taxi for simplicity.

I believe they do (in a way) - I entered my code for £20 off a trip when I activated the app in this country, but when I got to Florida it wasn't showing in my free rides. So make sure you put the code in once you are over there
