Really bad headache

I get bad headaches a lot, having a several day stretch is v familiar to me. I have had it checked, sinus related, take small dose of migraine medication to keep it at bay.

I hope feel better soon. I don't want to cause any alarm but I'd just like ask if you're aware of the symptoms of viral & bacterial Meningitis?
Can you look at the light? Can you touch your chin to your test?
Please look at the symptoms on the Meningitis Now website.
If your symptoms persist please phone 111 for advice.
If it's a migraine I take 2 paracetamol, 2 ibuprofen and a drink of coke. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't.
Really hope the pain starts to ease very soon.

Thank you . I did think about meningitis but have no other symptoms and light not a problem . I’ve done the online 111 test and it says it’s not coronavirus as no fever or cough .its just a really bad headache that won’t shift .thanks for all advice everyone x

I had awful headaches for 2 weeks at the beginning of lockdown, then almost as soon as they stopped I lost my sense of smell and taste, my sense of smell has still not fully returned, no other symptoms though

I had a few days of headaches, aches and tiredness and so did my husband. Don't think either of us had a temperature, we did have a random dry tickly cough. I also had nausea but my husband didn't. We wondered if it was the virus.

My knock is okay ,it’s my arms that are aching .very strange virus whatever it is

I had a very severe headache, plus all the other covid symptoms, was Ill for 10 days and the headache lasted about 7 days.
I went down the paracetemol/ibuprofen route-helped a bit, I went to the doctors who said it was some kind of virus, this was march 2018
You have my sympathy with the headache, I used to get bad migraines but this head ache was on a whole new level
