Details for NEW Disney Park Reservation System

So we rescheduled our offsite trip a few days ago to 4th September 2021. I haven't bought 2021 tickets yet so now I suddenly need to buy them and link them in order to reserve dates 15 months in advance? I've never been to WDW before and this has not been a happy experience so far

I cant get linked to mde ive been trying for days 😭 on phone to disney now so hopefully they can sort it for me. Just to clarify the reservation number is the number the cast member gave me when i booked isnt it?

I can’t link either, I rebooked last week tho & she said 2 weeks & I can’t even get through to Disney today to ask them😭

I haven't been able to link mine yet, but I was told it would take 14 days for it to be linked automatically and that is not up yet, so haven't worried about it as yet and my holiday isn't till Sept 2021 so not hugely concerned. Wondering whether existing bookings will all be linked by Disney anyway before Monday, though that could be me being optimistic lol

But my understanding of the park reservation system was that it could only be booked 60 days out, like FP used to be for on site guests.

I didn't think when it goes live it was going to be for bookings for next year. So I don't think all of you with reservations for next year need to worry about linking bookings etc to MDE yet.

Like I said I may be wrong but I'm sure I read that it's not bookings for every date just 2 months and so will roll on 1 day at a time from them. Maybe there's been another update that I've missed though cos there seem to be a lot of you thinking the same thing and I've just got in from school so I've not kept up with everything today.

Sorry bit late to all this but just had an email with this info but it doesn’t say how far in advance you make your park reservations? We are due to be going next May so do I need to do anything on the 22nd?
