Mobile Anyone knowledgeable about minecraft?

I asked my afterschool club children what games they would like me to buy for the console ( wii and Xbox 360) and minecraft was a favourite. I went to buy one but there’s a choice between minecraft or minecraft story mode - which one is the better option please. I have no clue about minecraft as my boys were fifa lovers 😂

If it's it's for multiple kids to use then definitely Minecraft. If it's for a single child who wants to build an individual profile and land then poss Minecraft story.

Minecraft is more flexible for how you can use it and construct with it.

My ds says Minecraft is better than story mode. You can build things and I interact on Minecraft.

Thank you all, the non story mode is cheaper so that’s a bonus 😂
