Spam - like it or hate it?

Oh yes ! We still have it for dinner with homemade chips done the proper way in hot oil and fried egg .
I used to have it growing up in the 80’s/90’s and thankfully dd likes it too .
I don’t like it cooked though , prefer it cold .

I would eat it if I wasn’t always on a diet ! We used to eat it as kids with proper chip pan chips too, cooked in lard. Also the luncheon meat with a slice of egg in the middle and the one with a smiley face !

I dont think I have ever tried it - Certainly is not something my Mother would have in her larder when I was growing up and I thought it had gone the way of other over processed tinned meats. Is it on the rebound ?

Ohh spam pie was lovely, made with puff pastry. I love cooked spam but haven't had it for years.

As a child, we had spam fritters at school and they always made me sick so I’m the end I wasn’t allowed them. I’m veggie now so no Spam for me.😊
