What a great way to be welcomed home - makes you feel really special.
It’s such a great feeling to walk back rather than face a bus journey home

A wonderful arrival day and the joy, excitement and anticipation of the holiday before you - just magical

It did make us feel so much more special than our POR experience, but the personal touch here took it to another level. Glad that magical feel of our arrival came across in the reading

xx

Great first Disney day. Joe is a good sport trying on the Tinkerbell wings 😉
Thanks for writing up another trip. I always enjoy your reports.

I think Joe secretly enjoys trying on stuff like this - he does gravitate towards hats usually

Thanks for posting a reply and delighted you have joined us for the final one.

A really busy first day but it looks like you had a great time. I'm very impressed that you managed to stay up so late. We always end up waking up so early that we are just shattered by the middle of the evening.

Sorry -should have said- we do tend to have a lot of busy days!
I think today though the adrenaline kicked in for all of us, it was the location and the whole onsite experience in the Yacht Club that caused it.
First we all could not believe we were staying here and secondly we aimed to fit in as much as we possibly could
I know you have read further already today, but yes we do pay the price for burning the candle at both ends and in the middle too!

Ah it was a real joy to read your Trip Report in these Disney-deprived days.

We should have been going to the Beach Club this August but have re-scheduled for next August. So it's been wonderful reading about your positive experiences at the YC.

You write in a real amusing way and you certainly like your food - as we do, especially when Stateside!

I'm off to read some more.

Oh! A question please... what time did the pool stay open to and was it very busy at night? I'm guessing there were no lifeguards around? Our kids are a bit younger and not the strongest swimmers.

Thanks for joining us and so sorry to hear that your trip this Summer has fallen victim to the pandemic. I hope you get to enjoy the Beach Club to the full in 2021- it is the most amazing place to stay.

To answer your question - the pool stayed open until 11pm each night - as long as there was no lightning in the area, the main pool is always staffed by lifeguards throughout its opening hours, which is a huge reassurance no matter how old your children are or how strong a swimmer they are. Smaller quiet pools in the resort do not have lifeguards.
It is a wonderful atmosphere of a nighttime and much quieter than during the day, there is a designated Beach area for younger children to build sandcastles where the water is shallow throughout. A really safe place for everyone to enjoy the pool.
Also worth adding that there is a lot of shade on offer if you fancy a day of sunning yourself by the Pool.

Hope you enjoy reading more and thank you for your lovely comments too - really appreciated
Any more questions about the Beach Club feel free to ask - happy to help

Arh. The scents that can take you back to a memory in an instant! Love them!

(almost as much as I loved Joe's fairy wings! )

A great first day in the magic! Welcome home!
