Love where you live part 2 lockdown
Out on my daily dog walk noticed the calm and stillness more than ever today. The Eagles track Learn to be still going over in my head. If this past week (DD been in hospital) has taught me anything it's to continue to be amazed by the beauty around us and be thankful for our health.xxx
The holiday park is normally bustling with life this time of year and its quiet and still, the come back soon sign really has new meaning. X

Love this idea. We are so lucky to live on the edge of a city surrounded by wilderness. Here is the view from our walk today (with my terrible phone camera).

I have always appreciated where I live, but even more so now. I realise I’m extremely lucky to be able to take my dog for a walk and hardly see another person for an hour.

Even those in citys can appreciate their surroundings. How many people zoom past the street just up the road and don't realize a small park is just round the corner. Or how often do people not look up. We have some great buildings around our cities and just looking at some of the houses you start to see the history of your city.

I've certainly noticed nearly everyone I pass while walking the dog says hello more often than they did before.
We live on the edge of a town and have access to footpaths that go miles across fields , brooks etc. On those we don't see anyone. Plenty of wildlife to see. deer, pheasants, birds of prey and all the birds in song. |

We live at the end of a small town (population approx 14k) in North East Scotland. We have so many country walks literally five minutes away. We are so incredibly lucky.
