Car seat
Would you hire or take your own car seat for a 14 month old? I presume they have the same isofix fittings over there?
Thanks |

There are differing opinions when it comes to car seats (and I'm sure you will get both) but when we took our 23 month old in September we opted to take our own seat. I didn't feel comfortable hiring a seat that I didn't know the history of or had experience of fitting. Our little boy is also still rear-facing and I was concerned at the availability of an extended rear-facing seat.
We took our second seat which is seat-belt fitted Joie Stages (so can be fitted in pretty much any car). I boxed it up in it's original packaging and also padded out with nappies and towels to further protect it in transport. Edited at 01:03 PM. |
