Where is everyone going today in Wales?

I live in Tenby, not venturing into town or the beach as I know it will be rammed with day trippers and holiday visitors. Maybe a trip to a more secluded beach late afternoon.

We’ve had a couple of trips out to a local beauty spot with family which has been really nice.
We’ve also formed an extended household with DS2 so we can help with childcare when DDIL returns to work in a couple of weeks.
It’s been lovely to be able to see all of our children and grandchildren without thinking about the 5 mile rule.

Our favourite local coffee shop finally opens to customers sitting outside today so me,dd and my Mum cant wait for a latte and scone, just hope rain stays away. Have to be honest we still haven't ventured outside the 5 miles,although it's so nice to be close to my Mum as we bubbled with her which is more important than visiting anywhere to me 😁

I love reading threads about Wales opening up It gives me hope of visiting my Mam and the rest of the family in Pembs. I am going to venture down next week actually … even if it's just for the day … as DD wants to see her beloved Gran before she moves to Qatar next month. It takes around 4 hours to get there from Staffs but it will be worth it

My DH starts his summer break today so we’re planning on a few day trips over the next two weeks, mainly here in Wales. We’ve not been out much until now, just supermarkets plus one trip to our sons in Swansea and an essential run to Bristol to get DD’s belongings moved out of her student halls.

I’m feeling very nervous about actually going out again and worried about eating out (which can only be outdoors) and crowds. I’m hoping that my confidence will build up a little as we go out. In some ways it will be nice if it feels a bit more normal again 😀
