My band released a song I wrote!

So we were supposed to be flying off to Salou on Sunday for a lovely relaxing week but as TUI have no flights from Scotland (and we are also banned from flying to Spain without quarantine on return!) its cancelled.

Whole family gutted and still saying "we should have been going to Spain on Sunday" - it's like we can't forgot it longer than 2 hours. Kids acting up and been 4 hard months off working from home and home schooling. Been feeling pretty down for a few months to be honest as everyday feels like a battle...

BUT!

Today my band finally got around to releasing our new song and initial reviews are positive! We recorded it back in November but took an age to get mixed. Its the first time I have written absolutely everything for the track and I am dead proud!

Definitely a bit of silver lining and hopefully can keep me chipper until I get a week off work in a fortnight - although I don't think we will be going anywhere (friends have said all Scottish accommodation is really expensive).
