Mobile Should flights be ok on Sunday 8th September?

Hi everyone.

At 10 weeks pregnant I have terrible baby brain at the moment and just can't take in what I'm reading.

We are flying from Gatwick to MCO on Sunday at 1pm with Virgin. At the moment does it look like there will be any problems with this flight please?

Thanks so much for any insight xx

As it's weather related there's no certainties but ... we fly Saturday and my expectation we will fly as scheduled at the moment.

Really, no there shouldn’t be any direct issues. Possible knock on delays. But no issues due to the hurricane itself.

However, this hurricane is quite frankly a nightmare! It’s not following prediction and it’s basically not moving. Which is making the time it could last longer and longer. Try and keep an eye on everything and carry on as you would as if you’re definitely flying. And just take it as it comes.

We too fly Saturday and think we will be okay. We were in Orlando for Irma and everything opened pretty quickly after it had passed over. Current string models have it moving out slightly with Orlando currently under Tropical Storm warning.

Hurricane will be well past orlando by then, flight might take a slightly different route than normal to avoid the coast but won't make much difference.

You should have no problems as the weather at MCO for Sunday is Partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 90s. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Dorian should be well up the coast by then.

I am on the 1pm flight the day after. I hadn’t expected to be impacted, other than for having a very full flight, but Dorian seems it be moving extremely slowly, so will just have to wait and see.
