One thing to look for is the newer ones have moulded branches, normally a mixture of moulded and the traditional ones with green little plastic strips forming the pines. The moulded branches look real as they are literally cast from a mould of a real branch. More expensive for this type but worth it if you want a really realistic looking tree.

We've just bought a 7' Canadian fir tree from Wilkinson reduced from £80 down to £40. I'm really pleased with it.

We have one of these with the pine cones too & it was reduced (3 or 4 years ago though). Still really happy with it.

That's lovely.

How much did it cost (if you don't mind sharing)?
