Annual pass q

Does anyone know this?
I have a day ticket for Christmas Day so if I upgrade to AP can I offset the cost of the day ticket against any AP. I want either the €299 or €259 one. As I’m going on Christmas Day would they make me buy the top priced AP? Also I bought my tickets from a 3rd party do they use the current gate price? What do I need to get AP if I want one. There are 5 of us so would also want the 20% off. Is it like Universal where depending which CM the pric fluctuates?
TIA

You can use the day ticket if it has the price on it, they will take that off the cost of the AP. You only get the 20% off if you all live at the same address, so you'll need proof. You need your passport to get an AP.

I’m not sure it has the price on it’s just a day ticket with a barcode

If you have advanced purchased the day tickets, you can check their price at the DLP website by running through a dummy booking on the ticket page.
From what I can see this morning, Christmas day counts as a "Super-magic" day so a 1 day, 2 park ticket is worth £94.11 per adult and £87.95 per child (3-9).
That's what you would have deducted off the AP total price.
However... I would suggest that Xmas day may not be a great day to stand in the line at the Annuel Pass Bureau... The park will be rammed.
If you go to the desk outside Studios (far right window) it may be quicker and easier. If you can, go before park opening.

Ahh fab that’s a good tip. How early/late do they open/close? I want to buy either the $299/$249 pass but this doesn’t cover Xmas day which is fine as we won’t be going Xmas day next year but will they let me offset my xmas day ticket against the cheaper passes or will they say as I have entered the park Xmas day I need to get that pass(even though I won’t ñeed it next year)? I hope this makes sense

I think the only way to do that is enter the park then go to the AP office to upgrade it
