I emailed Avis on uk.reservations@bcn.avis-europe.com
Provided them with- Booking Number Name Booking Dates Avis Preferred account number. They added it onto my preferred account within an hour. I also joined after I had booked with BA

Linked mine through the app yesterday. On the laptop it wouldn't stay as a booking but when I found the booking on the app it then stayed there.
