VA Bubble Refund
I noticed a while back a few people were in the same situation as me - seats booked in the bubble but then moved onto an A330. We were due to fly in November and were moved aircraft and flight time back in May I believe. I’ve contacted them a few times as regards refund of the money but have been told I won’t see this at least until November.
Has anyone else had any luck with this? Thanks |

I haven’t even managed to contact VA about this so I’m in the process of claiming my refund back from the bank.

I’m still waiting for the refund of bubble seats. Contacted Virgin via WhatsApp and they said they would process it but that was back in May and still nothing. 😡

Same here. Was in the Bubble on the 747 from Gatwick for 15th November. They cancelled and moved us to VS91 from Heathrow for the same date. I'm waiting for them to cancel so I can request a charge back.
I also cancelled another flight to LAX for May and waited 2 months before doing a charge back with Amex. Amex returned the funds to me within 2 days. I just needed to provide proof of the cancellations. Wish I'd done it sooner. My advice is contact your credit card company and go the charge back route. Edited at 08:35 PM. |

I contacted Virgin for a refund of my bubble seats back in April (we were due to fly in September) and I finally got my refund confirmation e-mail from Virgin a few days ago, its taken the full 4 months to get the refund. The covering e-mail from Virgin advised it could take up to 14 days to appear back on my card.
No sign of the refund for my actual flights though, but then I think it was June they got cancelled so I imagine I've got another couple of months before I see that refund.

I have had my flights refunded at 120 days. They have not refunded the bubble seats.
I have raised a chargeback with my credit card company because I cannot get a satisfactory response from VA when this will be refunded. |
