I have a had a cactus for a year now, it was almost 4 when I bought it. We changed from an Audi A6 which I actually detested. The cactus I prefer. There is no doubt the Audi was a more comfortable drive on motorways etc, but it was like driving a bus. Whereas the cactus, for all I can tell it’s a far cheaper car than the Audi, bit more rattly feeling and less sleek, for me and my 2 kids it’s a great sized family car with some decent gadgets inside and I sort of feel it does what it says on the tin without trying to be a snobby car. I had the mince ripped out me from my workmates about it (all men) but I don’t care, I quite like the quirky looks. I wouldn’t put anyone off buying one though
(Although I had to replace the NOX sensor a couple of months back and that was over £500 so that stung)

We are looking to change. Have had German cars for probably 30 years, loved them. We currently have 2 Audis which have had since new and just paid off they have been brilliant. Just (covid) retired and have decided that's it, sell em and let's get a great smaller car to potter about and looked around last week. The only smaller car we couldnt take to... Cactus🤣 Not sure what to get but enjoying looking.

I can get upto 95mpg around town if I take it easy and around 82 on the motorway Lovely automatic and vey quiet. Good stepping stone between fully electric and fossil fuels |
