When I was anemic the iron tablets from the shelf at boots had 7mg of iron in. The doctors prescribed ones had 55mg per tablet so if you are anemic it's probably not enough. Fingers crossed you get answers soon as I used to come home from running and just cry

I have had borderline thyroid problems for years and years, but the GP's never listen and they always said "oh, you're borderline, we will just check your levels again next year".
Until January this year, my thyroid levels had really dropped, and they finally prescribed thyroxine. I was really tired every night (falling asleep on the sofa), weight gain, thinning hair and the worst thing was I also had bradycardia, sometimes my heart rate was in the 30's, pretty scary. The stress from that was causing my blood pressure to rise.
I had a blood test recently and my thyroid levels are now back to normal, but I'm still flipping tired all the time. I haven't lost any weight and I've still got very dry skin, but at least my hair is super thick again.

I hope you get things sorted soon.

Mines boderline and has been for over a year. I'm sick of having 3 monthly bloodtests as the option tbh! Unfortunately it runs in my family, as my nan, mum and aunt all suffer...seems it's inevitable

Mine was borderline for around 9 years, before they finally did something. I was diagnosed in Jan and told that I needed blood tests every 2 months for a year, the next blood test I had was in October, thanks to covid.
