He suggested we add a night in Miami onto the end so looking at that currently.
Yay, that's great news and I'm so pleased to hear your marriage is still in tact!

Not impressed with your secret keeping skills though. We booked our holiday last April and our children won't find out until a couple of weeks before we go in October as it's a surprise trip for our daughter's 18th birthday

Yes no divorce pending ... he found it utterly reasonable behaviour
I did better last year. I had his daughter booked to join us for our wedding for a good couple of months before I had to tell him as the grandkids were coming too.

Just had a chat with my lovely friend in Vero Beach and confirmed we are both coming.
Oh and OH has announced we will skip the Keys this time and combine visiting them with a cruise "next time". I think he may be converted !

Even with the "sale" still on our flights have increased by £40 person since I booked on Friday night.
I'm actually surprised the cheap fare included the Easter weekend. We are benefiting from both Easter Monday and the May Day Bank holidays which is nice.

Not much to update ...
The new My lounge at the South terminal (not North) has an out door terrace with a small smoking area airside so he's a happy bunny about that. Guess that sorts out where we will be having breakfast too
Will probably add the premium security on at £4 as it worked brilliantly last time.
Saw Alamo had dropped in price on a thread here this week so dropped Andy an email and he's reinvoiced with an even better price
Discussed baggage and added one checked bag on between us , still loads of seats showing so won't be prebooking seats.

Nothing on TV last night so we hit youtube and he now thinks Seaworld is worth a visit and is mega excited about BG and Aquatica

More price drops... our hotel on I Drive dropped by £60 . Love Holidays tried to wriggle out of their free amendments offer by changing the price to incorporate it. Nope ... not this ex travel agent !
Now rebooked at the lower price £295 for five nights. Result. Every little helps as they say

Not much more to add, car hire dropped a couple of times and honoured by Andy at Florida Discount Carhire .
Tonight we were looking at youtube and he decided he fancied Discovery Cove so switched the passes with no amendment fee with FloridaTix . Glad he mentioned it before the offer on it ends at the
end of this month !
