Swapping 2 rooms in mod to 1 bed okw

Hi

Ok, this is a big if as it relies on free dining for 2020...

If free dining was released for 2020, we would either like 2 rooms at CSR or a 1 bed at OKW, this is for check in just before the Easter cut off dates if it all works as it has (see, huge if).

If we booked 2 rooms at CSR separately (I'm aiming to book online to allow airmiles to be collected via shops away), could Disney combine this on to one booking to allow me to move it to a 1 bed at OKW if those became available after the 11 month window? I'm not fussy if we lost a giftcard if that's offered. I'm unsure if I can book 2 rooms as1 booking for only 4 people online.

If you book 2 rooms and OKW becomes available, just call Disney. They will cancel 1 booking (losing you the deposit) and change the other one to OKW. As the cost of OKW is more than 1 room at CSR, Disney should wave the change fee on the 2nd booking.

I’d recommend only booking 1 person per room to start with so the deposit is only £50 per room. You can always change this later.

In terms of the shops away points, you’ll probably have one transaction cancelled and as long as the booking number doesn’t change on the other one, it should pay out ok.

Fab thank you, its not the end of the world but if I can get the miles, I may aswell take them!

Completely understand. I got just shy of 18k miles for our booking. That’s a hefty chunk towards a reward flight!
