Is Disney a cult?

In view of how some people are besotted with Disney and even go short of things throughout the year so they can afford to go (such as eating basic food) and are very defensive towards Disney if anyone should say negative things about it, I wonder if Disney is a cult but we just haven't realised it.

As always your thoughts about this important subject is welcome.

In this instance I would say No to 1.

But yes to 2.

There again there may be some who see Disney almost as a religion...

In sum, yes I would say it meets the criteria to be called a cult.

The dibb is a cult, Even though we can’t get to Disney or anywhere we are still on here. I broke free of the Disney cult and would just settle for a glorious Beach with a sun bed and a cocktail! Dreaming
