This seems counter-intuitive to me. I wouldn't not stay somewhere just because they charged parking.

Would you stay in a room that cost $115 a night but not one that cost $90 + $25 parking (if they were otherwise exactly the same)?

It's the overall cost that matters not how they choose to extract that cash surely?

It's the overall cost that matters to YOU. I've been visiting for over 30yrs so can see the difference and personally I am no longer happy to stay onsite. Luckily there are plenty more people behind me happy to pay the inflated prices for the perceived benefits, we did for decades.

If I wanted to go to Universal after 6pm to watch a night time show or get some rides in for a few hours it's free parking. If I just wanted to pop to Disney to watch the fireworks it would still be $25 to park for a couple of hours it's a rip off.

I have never park hopped or been an all day person either so always thought it was a rip off. Wish you could buy a pass for $150 for up to 3 weeks

$25 is far too much, when you're visiting all the parks this adds up to a hefty amount - I seem to remember that Typhoon Lagoon was free (we didn't have time to do BB)

Overall I believe we paid $175 just on parking, we got free parking at Seaworld, Aquatica & Busch Gardens but that was the offer they were doing at that time.
