Is it an age thing

Over the last 15 years we have loved all rides but there seems to have come a time where rides like the Hulk and similar rides tend to throw your head around to much
Anyone else find this to be the case

Yes, me and DH. It has got to the point where I will only go on the roller coasters I know are smooth. Wouldn't go on rip, ride rocket ever again and there are a couple at Busch gdns that are a no. I am slowly becoming the handbag holder and child minder.

Yes both me and DH feel queasy now on some of the rides we used to love. I take a couple of Dramamine before going to Universal and that tends to help,
I’m generally fine at Disneyworld apart from Expedition Everest when it goes backwards 🤢

Yup, used to love the hulk but last time I went on it felt like my head was being detached from my shoulders, got off feeling dizzy and my neck hurt for a good couple of hours, never mind the teeth rattling experience of space mountain, so have given up doing quite a few rides about as exciting as it gets now for me is slinkly dog dash, 7 dwarfs, big thunder etc. I'm only 53 😳 and feel as i get older there will be a few more that fall by the wayside

Yes and I do think it’s an age thing as it’s been as I’ve got older.

DH is 69 and can go on all the rides with no problem at all.
I’m 61 and I’m finding I’m struggling with a lot of rides now.
The Hulk
Kraken
Manta
Rip Ride Rockit
Montu
Tigris
These are the ones I know I can’t go on and didn’t even attempt Tigris

I’m ok on but only once.
Sheikra
Mako
The Mummy
Rock n Roller Coaster
Forbidden Journey

Everything else I’m fine with

I always found rip ride rocket a bit rough but always loved the other but did struggle last time. I’m even finding some inside rides like forbidden journey now make me feel sick too 🙁

Yep this is me for sure... does your brain shrink as you get older? If so is it rattling around in your skull more!?

I think it is less about the head but more that the middle parts are not as tight as they were so things seem to move around a bit more, despite the extra padding!

Like bagpuss... saggy and a bit loose at the seams... but Emily loved him
