which car hire closest to port?

can someone help me please?

I can't remember which car hire place is closest to Port Canaveral and only used it last year!

I presume it will be cheaper to do 2 separate hires (airport to port then port to airport) rather than leave it parked up for a week?

We use Alamo as they've moved their rental shop now and it's closer (and bigger).

You still need to get the shuttle they provide (tip cost only), but it works well.

thanks. I remember the one we used last year was really close to port - DH dropped me and all our luggage off then went back to leave the car. Would that one have been open last May? It did seem sort of new.

Yes because that's when we used it.
It was like a warehouse and it had a little café a few doors down. Cars at the back and office in the actual building. We go through Alamo Brits to get a small discount too.

The vast majority of them are located south of the port. Alamo are at Mullet Road (nearest), Payless Car Rental at George King Blvd and then there is Budet Car Rental on Astronaut Blvd. Dollar, Avis and National are further down Astronaut Blvd.

Yes you are, they've never asked us for anything and in fairness, I've not bought the book either!
