Cancelled Cruise but for a good reason.

We decided to cancel our cruise for Sept 2008 the good reason is we have bought some more DVC points.

Still cruising in Sept 07 though.

Oh, well you still have plenty of time before Sept 08... and if things change, you could still get your 10% off for booking on board your first cruise...and probably be no worse off.

You can use you points every year but the cruise only once so IMHO you have done the best thing.

Oh well, you cancel your cruise maybe you will get better offer when you are on the Cruise - booking it for another one for 08?

I think we will be looking on the cruise to re-book, while we were on the phone cancelling they were saying how addictive cruising is.

It makes sense to take advantage of the re-booking discount on board Shell, and well done you on securing extra DVC points!

Even though DH has said 'no more holidays for a while' I am hoping that he will fall in love with cruising and allow me to re-book on board

I agree with the others that you have made the wise choice - certainly the one I would have made. It will be great for you to have the DVC points and as you say, you can look to booking your next cruise when you are sailing in Sept.
