We booked the night before we went and got $4 off each (coupon)
Yes you do eat with your fingers, the only problem is the soup slips thru!

You do eat with your hands and the menu is:

* A Tender Whole Rotisserie Chicken *
* Hickory Smoked Barbecued Pork Loin *
* Dixie Stampede's Original Creamy Vegetable Soup *
* Delicious Homemade Biscuit *
* Hot Buttered Corn on the Cob *
* Herb-based Potato *
* Dixie's very own Specialty Dessert *
* Unlimited Pepsi, tea or coffee *

It's a great show!

Keep in mind that Dolly grew up and resides in a dry county so she has kept this policy at all of her locations. This means you can not purchase alcoholic beverages of any type. Enjoy drinking out of the jam jars and remember, no photography of any kind.

... Going back in December when visiting at Christmas.

Yep! That's the menu for each person. It does sound like a lot of food but the portion sizes aren't huge so you're full just right!

lol ... Well it would be a bit messy eating soup that way.

Actually, the serve your soup in a bowl with a handle (the same as at Medeival Times) and you basically 'drink' your soup from the bowl. They are trying to place you into a 'old south' setting and have you eat like the cowboys would have done.

Fun... but remember... fun is what you make of it!

Yeah - you have to lick it off your fingers - you'd be there for hours!
I've been reliably informed that the soup bowls have handles - novel idea! LoL
