That's fine, we won't have much anyway, just the luggage for the cruise as we are leaving everything else in Orlando. Probably easier to take it ourselves. Our hand luggage will be nearly empty as boarding it will be full of beer+wine

Are you sure you are allowed to take beer on the ship, as I have booked a 4 nighter cruise from Carnival and they only allow 1 bottle of wine per adult and 12 bottles of soft drinks or cans.

DCL let you take alcohol in your hand luggage, 1 bag per person, most people seem to take spirits to mix at the soda fountains onboard, but i'm not keen on spirits. Actually I might need a bigger Kipling bag

We have never queued to get off the ship...generally just strolled off...barely aware of customs.
Only wait we have had was for either a cab ( in Barcelona ...learned my mistake..pre booked the following year!) or for a shuttle bus to car hire.
