getting about
i plan to take my daughter on a duel holiday spending 7 nights at the universal cabana beach then transfer for a 3 day cruise on the disney dream ,
the holiday comes with all the transfers included but i am worried about getting about for the 7 days in orlando going from universal to the disney parks ect as the last time i went to orlando i was in a vila with a hire car so it was never a issue , it just frightens me having a very tired daughter at the end of the day and trying to get back to the hotel in buses , I know it will not be a issue at universal but the disney parks might be different..any thoughts on the matter |

Have to say I wouldn't even consider it without a Car for the 7 days. Going to be tough with a tired little one.

I tend to go with you as i found the kids well tired the last time i went but on that occasion i had no other choice due to being at champions gate , but this being a hotel i thought it might be different.
the guy at the travel agency seems to be in a positive mood about this as he could easily sell me car hire deal if he wanted to ...something to consider i think. What kind of distance are we talking about to link up with the bus transfers from the cabana beach to the Disney parks. |

as above i wouldnt do it without a car
im guessing its about 10-15 miles between disney & universal you would have to use lynx (public) buses as i dont think universal hotels offer shuttles to disney parks (and vice versa). Personallywouldnt want to be waiting about at bus stops late at nigth with tired kids fwiw there is only the 3 of us so no need for a big car/SUV this year works out at £18 a day to hire ford focus size car |
