Hi all, has anyone used a Thomas Cook cash passport CC to link to there Uber account just do not fancy putting my proper CC on it. TIA

Why:
- any money taken from your CC is protected by UK laws and if fraudulent is generally the CC companies' responsibility and money, not yours
- if it fraudulently comes off a "cash passport" (a pre-paid card, not a CC) it is, er, well, gone. Good luck getting that back
- Uber is a company with a market valuation of around $60bn, that's worth around 70 times more than TC

As mentioned above you have more protection with a credit card.

My daughter used uber a lot when she was there two weeks ago, linked her account to paypal and had no issues whatsoever...

I read that uber don't accept prepaid currency cards I'm afraid!
