akershus Royal Banquet lunch/dinner

Hi, has anyone eat here for lunch or dinner? What exactly do you get? Is it a buffet or are you served food?
What are the deserts? It just says a selection if Norwegian deserts

Any pictures? Food reports?

We ate here last month. The starters are buffet style. Main courses you order from a menu. Then desserts are a set trio that you get served automatically. It was a chocolate mousse, warm apple cake and a set rice pudding with strawberry sauce (like a muller rice)

Thank you! Would you recommend it? Was the food good etc?

I enjoyed it. I have two teens and they enjoyed the mains, weren't fussed by the starter buffet as it's mainly salad and cheese.
Unlike a lot of character dining, they tend to bring all four out together then you get time to eat with less interruptions. We saw all princesses during our starters but we went on the earliest booking time soviet was quite quiet too
