On NCL EPIC at present and couldn't stop today in Jamaica- gutted
Well has the title stays we tried to dock at both Falmouth and Montego Bay today but couldn't due to winds. He was going to try another 1 there but another big ship had already docked. Gutted another day at sea has yesterday was a sea day. I understand it's for safety.
I've done 1 cruise in Europe 7 years ago and didn't like it, I was told to try the Caribbean before saying never again. I'm 50-50 at the minute. I'm not liking being stuck on the ship and the crowds at both meal times and trying to get a pool bed are terrible. |

We found finding a sunbed awful on the Epic, we had 6 straight days at sea.. have you tried going up on Deck 18? there were plenty up there as hardly anyone knew about it on our cruise in Oct/Nov.
TBH Montego Bay did nothing for me - I'm glad I just flew in and out of it

I have 4 kids 14,11,8 & 5 so deck 18 was no good for us. Just currently sat in the room waiting for kids club to open back up.
We had a reservation at jewel runaway bay resort for the day so was looking forward to getting off. We are in Cayman Islands tomorrow but nothing booked for there. |

Sorry to hear this, on our first cruise we couldn't get into Antigua and I was gutted.
Epic is a huge ship and I can understand the sunbed difficulty. When we went to Grand Cayman a friend who lived there took us to Smiths Cove, a lovely quiet spot that the locals go to, we had a picnic then swam in the sea. Happy memories. Might be worth getting a taxi to get away from the crowds.

We just got a taxi to part of the 7 mile beach at grand cayman, it was beautiful. Hope you manage to get onshore.

I hate sea days too.
When your looking for your next Caribbean cruise I believe sailing out of Puerto Rica cruises have less sea days.
