Yes they do, when they delivered to our room at CBR they asked my husband for ID.

Hi,
From what I've read on other sites, WDW resorts don't charge for holding Garden Grocer deliveries. There is a now a charge for handling other packages but not Garden Grocer deliveries. You pay $14 delivery cost to Garden Grocer when you do your online order, but that's it. They may change this in the future, but no extra handling fees atm. I just tipped bell services for bringing delivery to my room. 😎 |

Would be good to get some confirmation if the Disney charge definitely does apply to garden grocer or not. We are hoping to get around 100 dollars worth of groceries delivered to CBR and given that this will probably be 3 or 4 separate 'packages' I'd hate to get hit with an additional 20 dollar charge when I arrive.

We didn't incur any additional fees for our Garden Grocer order - just the original delivery cost & a tip for bell services.
In regards to alcohol we had to scan over ID shortly after placing the order. We didn't need to show it again at the time of delivery.

So when you've paid $14 deliver charge and tipped Bell Services, how is this any cheaper than just buying the groceries in the resort shops?

As we only order breakfast cereal, milk, bread, bacon and eggs, juice when staying at DVC we find the convenience is worth the little extra and it is delivered to the unit and cold stuff put into the fridge. Anything else, if needed we get on a shopping trip to Walmart or some such.
