How to book- help!
OK, so looking to go end April/may 2021 on site and if free ddp at a price that won't bankrupt us. But obviously flights won't be out then. We are likely to have a few days to a week flexibility on dates. So am I right that I can book the hotel I want for the dates I want (with extra days as a buffer) then when I get flights cancel any days I don't need? And if I book for only one person it's a small deposit but can add other people later with free ddp if available? So if it was available for one person then I book flights say 2 months later the free ddp won't have "run out"? Have I picked that up right? Also is direct with Disney the cheapest or is it worth shopping around? Happy to DIY

I always book direct with Disney, with topcashback or Quidco. It’s normally slightly cheaper at other places but not enough to make me book elsewhere.
I always book for 1 person, in case I want to change something or cancel. The deposit is £50 per person. It’s £50 when you make amendments that reduce the price or keep it the same. In your situation when you remove the extra days add on the rest of your party to not have to pay the £50 amendment fee. You will have to pay the £50 per person deposit when you add them though. You can add people at anytime and they will get the free dining. It’s based on the original offer you booked. I booked last April for this August and have only just added on the rest of my party last week. |
