resizing problems
Hi
trying to put together a photobook and finding problems with the size of photos. to look at they are fine before uploading but when you upload them only part of the photo is shown in the space. thought that resizing would help but neither of the software apps here are any good, the first one recommended is no longer free and teh other is no good. any ideas of a free app to use or is that still perhaps not going to help? Thanks Elaine |

it doesn't sound like resizing is the issue, it sounds more to do with the proportions of the images.
Images that we take on our digital cameras are proportioned at 6x4.5, if you get photopass images, they are either proportioned to fit 6x4 or 5x7 (if they have borders added). if you try and print a 6x4.5 photo as a 6x4 then you will lose 1/2 inch of one side, or else get a white border at the bottom. PS - for resizing, I love MS Powertoys Image Resizer it puts the resize option on a right click right in your folder, you can do one image or the whole folder. Very easy and no need to open another program. |
