Glad you had a great time. We are counting the days down to our next cruise on Breakaway in May. Sailing from USA on NCL last summer I thought the passengers were more demanding of staff compared with European sailing. It was mainly American passengers that seemed more demanding but I sensed staff put up with it because they tipped very well.

Sounds awesome. But I’m confused Is it Norwegian cruise line? and $800 seems a good price. I’m assuming this wasn’t including flights.

Only ever been with p&o but would love to do something different just don’t like the prices of some lines.

Yes, Norwegian Cruise Line and I only quoted the cruise price, not the flights nor the eight nights in NOLA.

Have to say I didn’t see a lot of tipping either!

Yes we saw excessively rowdy behaviour and downright plain ugly rudeness. Made me sad as it’s so unnecessary!

I love NCL and love the getaway. I do find the American/Asian community ‘can’ be much ruder to the staff than us brits.
We were on NCL for our honeymoon and DH wanted to slap some people.
Did a Marella week in Jan and I only saw one rude customer all week.
NCL still my fave, but I genuinely struggle with how you can be rude to those staff
