Group W avis

Just realised we have a group W booked with BA/avis for this august, were a family of 5 with 4 cases.
Thinking should I upgrade to a people carrier group V or stick with the group W?

Sorry I’m not much help but We are in the exact same position and on the past 2 trips we have had a dodge caravan people carrier... not sure what to do either so interested to see replies!

We are a family of 4 and had 4 cases plus 4 items of hand luggage in group W. I can’t remember what we had, but the boot was fine. We had two bulky car seats in the back so I can’t comment on seating space. I normally book a full size sedan so this was an upgrade for us.

I'm thinking of calling avis to check out how much to upgrade, does anyone know what number to call?

I might be wrong but i think if your with Avis Preferred you'll be upgraded to a group S (1 class up) as long as your rental is for 14 days or less.

Yes we have avis preferred!
