Upgrading to annual pass

Could anyone please advise me how to upgrade to an annual pass. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

If current ticket is linked on disney parks app, it should have an option to upgrade to the annual pass, obviously ticket still has to be valid or not yet used.

Actually it's the other way around on the app, once you start using your "normal" pass you get a message about upgrading. As far as how to do it, go to guest services anywhere, they convert what your pass is worth- note this is worth not what you have necessarily paid- & you then pay the difference. Are you sure that you need to? Since the price hikes last year you are really looking at 2.5/3 holidays to get your monies worth as the upgrade cost will be more than buying another Ultimate as you are looking at over $1200 plus tax for a Platinum.
